SHIFT: Variable Typeface

Shift is a variable typeface that is built around the idea of playful discovery. As you play around with and adjust the two axes, watch as the geometric letters change shape, move in new directions, and shift focus. Experimenting with how far right, left, up, or down you set each axis can lead to unusual and unexpected new letterforms.

Horizontal and Vertical Axis

The typeface is set at a centered position by default. This position is the clearest and easiest to read, suitable for anything from large titles to longer sentences and paragraphs.

As it shifts farther from the center, the font changes from slightly emphasizing one direction to becoming heavier, bolder, and extremely expressive.
